God fights for his adoptive children in Christ Jesus, assuring their spiritual wellness, security and safety, but they should know how to fight in righteousness from the position of victory wrought and given them by Christ on the cross. In Christ Jesus, we are saved, called and given power to overcome Satan, the world and the flesh: but thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:57.
We must overcome whatsoever the enemy and world throws at us because the Lord has overcome the prince of this world and the world itself. Whosoever is born of God overcomes the world. If you are not overcoming, it is either you are just religious, not being born again, or you are not walking in the spirit and in the light of the word, the root and essence of your new birth.1 John 5:4.
The Lord’s love for the church is unfathomable. He died for her to demonstrate this that he gave himself for it; that he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, that he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. This truth reveals the mind of Christ that he will not just accept anyone or anything for a bride who has not met up with his requirement of a chaste virgin. 2 Corinthians 11:2-3.
The threats sent from the Lord through the Apostle John from the Island of Patmos against the Seven churches are not empty words. They were sent for changes against the impending judgment against any believer if they did not walk worthwhile as he expected of them. The Lord will fully implement and execute the threats if his bride takes no heed to his warnings to avoid the execution of those threats against whosoever has not met up with his spiritual, moral and physical expectations and standards in the kingdom of God or from the church. We must fight lawfully to overcome all the dangers of the last days in the world and overcome the evil and worldliness inside the church. The enemy has brought the fight to us inside the church, but we must not give him a place. Sinners must not stand in the congregation of the righteous, but great discernment with sound knowledge of the word of God is the key to outsmarting the old serpent and the generation of vipers inside the church.
Now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed, but the world is becoming spiritually difficult with increasing moral corruption and wickedness. Spiritually, the world is becoming a dangerous place for those who want to walk and to please God in the body, soul and spirit. Those who want to live a godly life shall suffer persecution. They want to live a life of total separation for God, not unequally yoked together with the world and the ungodly men and women in it. Men shall call them different false names because they have chosen to separate from the world unto the Lord and to bear his reproach. This is the testimony of the spirit of God and of glory resting upon them. The church itself is now becoming a dangerous and suspicious place to visit or enter. There are many synagogues of Satan everywhere. The name of the Lord is taken in vain. The false brethren and ungodly believers are bringing shame and reproach to the name of Christ. We are not allowed to forsake the assembly of one another as the manner of some is, but what should we do? Mixed multitudes are evidently present in the church. Fake and pretender worshipers mixed together with the genuine children of God. The wheat and the tares are allowed to grow together until the harvest time, but the Lord knows those who are his. It is up to individuals to open their eyes and heart to discern and to know who is who among the brethren. First, remove the beam from your eyes to be able to see clearly to remove the mote from the eyes of your brother. Purify your hearts you double minded. Determined to lead a clean life out of a pure heart. This will help you to be able to see others in the light of the word of God. Through these, you can follow after righteousness, faith, charity and peace with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart in the church. 2 Timothy 2:22.
Beware of men. There are wolves in sheep's clothing inside the church. Acts 14:22. The world itself is the habitation of wolves. Because of the many dangers and difficulties of false brethren you will be encountering in the world and from the church, the Lord counseled and warned his beloved children, sent as sheep among the wolves, to be wise as serpents but gentle as doves. Matthew 10:16.
False men and women have crept secretly into the church, pretending to be children of God, but their deceptions and folly are known by their works and fruits. They operate, speak, walk and live contrary to the light and truth sent from God through his word. They import unfruitful works of darkness into the city set on the hill. They twist and resist the truth to establish falsehood in Zion, the city of truth. Iniquity is normalized in the place of righteousness. This is how they are denying the Lord that brought and redeemed them by his unblemished blood. This is how they have chosen to recompense Christ for his death on the cross. This is how they are misrepresenting Christ, creating and presenting a false image of the true church before the world with ungodly lifestyles while fulfilling the will and lusts of Satan, their father, because there is no light in them.
If we confess Christ as Lord, we are to be living as saints should be (Ephesians 5:3-5), otherwise, we are crucifying the Son of God afresh the second time, and bringing him to open shame. Let your lifestyle be in conformity according to the gospel of Christ. Philippians 1:27. The presence and manifestations of worldly lust and ungodliness in us are the treading underfoot the Son of God, and counting the blood of the covenant, wherewith we were sanctified as an unholy thing. Such a lifestyle is acting in defiance [despite]against the Spirit of grace. Hebrews 10:26-29. Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ. I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward, destroyed them that believed not. And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. Jude 1:3-7.
Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. The race is personal. Your relationship with God is personal. The accountability of your engagement with the Lord while you live is unique. Your judgment at the judgment seat of Christ is personal. Your reward from the Lord is personal according to what your works shall be. In a race everyone runs, but only one person gets first prize. So, run your race to win. 1 Corinthians 9:24.
World politics shall bring irresistible pressure on many church leaders to compromise their faith and adulterate the truth. Those who seek praise and identification or acceptance with the world would be compromised. The false doctrine of inclusivity is now introduced into the church to diminish the effect and nullify the offense of the cross. The weak-hearted brethren shall be carried away by the dissimulation of the ungodly brethren in the last days. Many shall be discouraged by the bad examples of church leaders and of the false churchgoers to forsake their first love, purity, obedient life and watchfulness' before the Lord. Men who have once begun in the spirit and have suffered many things in the spirit shall willingly walk back to build what they had once destroyed, the body of sin. Romans 6:6. Many, instead of growing on their spiritual momentum with the Lord, are now being made perfect in the flesh to make themselves sinners in the church. Galatians 3:3.
Except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake, God will make good his word and those days shall be shortened. Matthew 24:22.
New generations of pastors, believers and churches are increasing. There shall be a great falling away from the old faith once delivered unto the saints in the last days. Shall Christ find the faith of our fathers in you at his coming? Some genuine worshipers of God shall fall and rise up and bounce back. As it is written, many of them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make them white, even to the time of the end: because it is yet for a time appointed. Daniel 11:35.
In Christ Jesus, we’ve been given grace for power to walk, live and be victorious in every situation. We are complete in Christ Jesus, who is the head over principalities and powers. Christ's victory is our victory. His triumph over Satan, the world and the flesh is also ours over Satan, the world and the flesh.
There is nothing like the twenty-first century generation faith. Believers of all ages must contend for the faith once delivered unto the saints. Jude 1:3. Children of God are to build after the pattern of the first pioneers, – the holy apostles and prophets of our Lord Jesus Christ, if they are to overcome the dangers and destruction of not walking worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing in these last days. There is no other foundation anyone can lay in the church or for the church again. Christ is the pillar and cornerstone of his church, the author and finisher of the faith of his saints.
The late Pope Francis (Jorge Mario Bergoglio) of the Catholic faith church worldwide made a wicked, unrighteous and ungodly decree that same-sex couples should receive their blessing from the church. What a disgustful, distrustful and abominable decree against the word and holiness of God? Believers are to separate from anyone called a Christian brother but is gay. The same principle is applicable to any Christian sister who is a lesbian. We are not to remove the old landmarks set by the forefathers. We are not to set up another foundation of a false Christ or Christian life. If anyone preaches any other gospel different from the gospel of Christ, even the doctrine which is according to godliness, let him be cursed forever.
We are in the last days, those who tolerate or keep silent about any of the evil unfruitful works of darkness in the church are likewise sinners and evil in themselves. Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil, cleave to that which is good. Romans 12:19. Love the company of those who love truth. If you don’t show detestation to evil, it means you have pleasure in it and are a partaker therein by silent consent. Thou shall not follow a multitude to do evil. Exodus 23:2.
The text goes against everything the world grammatically calls bigotry. Lack of empathy, prejudice. Intolerance and lack of love. The text says that love shown and given to others should be based or founded on the knowledge of God’s word. Love for others should be based on the fear and love of God. Before you approve or disapprove of anything, praise or frown at anything, accept or reject any idea, proposal and any other thing, first consider what the scripture says about it.
Let love be without hypocrisy. Speak the truth in love for the answer of a good conscience towards God. Faithful are the wounds of a friend, but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful. Proverbs 27:6. Deceivers and flatterers shall not stand in judgment before the Lord.
The Lord rebukes those he loved. We must rebuke, correct, teach, and speak the truth in love. All things should be done by charity. True love should not be afraid to lose the company of another friend who has no pleasure in hearing or bearing the truth.
Woe unto them that give their blessings on whatever the Lord abhors! It means they loved darkness more than light. Where are the anointed Jehu’s of God today who will not seek peace and co-operation with others where evil is evident? When Joram saw Jehu, he said, do you come in peace, Jehu? And he answered, What peace [can exist] as long as the fornications of your mother Jezebel and her sorceries are so many? 2 Kings 9:22.
It doesn’t matter to whom the truth is applicable. If you love anyone in your life more than Christ, you are not worthy of him.
Has any man bestowed or spoken a father’s blessing to any daughter or son of his who has chosen to be a lesbian or gay, contrary to the word of God for whatever reason? How can anyone dare bless that which is accursed by God? If indeed we love God, whatever God says is evil and abomination to him should be evil and abominable to us. The vices in the world should be hated, disgusted, detested, loathsome and despicable to a true child of God. Lot openly showed his disapproval of the sexual perversion of the gay pride and ways of the Sodomites, ready and willing to give his virgin daughter in exchange to correct and change their perverted sexual way of life. 2 Peter 2:7-8.
Have you chosen to stay in a church where evil is not contested against from the pulpit? Are you just playing a good brother to everything, though vile and unholy? When men add to the word of God, they become a liar. When men removed from the word of God, they shall be reproved by him. God does not approve, but frowns against, if anyone adds or removes from his word. Proverbs 30:5- 6.
Men should quit like men for God. It was Adam's fault and failure not to stand on the word of God, never permit Eve to indoctrinate him against the instructions given for the continuation of their existence in the Garden of Eden. He failed to put up a good fight of faith from what God has spoken to defend the truth for his survival. He ought to resist Eve and the serpent who has gained an advantage over her. Instead, he showed weakness in the place of strength to love his wife above God, which should be loved before and above all. He knew that God had forewarned death as the outcome result, if they should eat from the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Nevertheless, he chose not to be mindful of the word of God. You that love the Lord hate evil: he preserves the souls of his saints; he delivers them out of the hands of the wicked. Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart. Psalms 97:10 – 11.
Adam cleaved to the evil instead of him doing the right thing by non –compliance with Eve’s desire (to act in accordance with a wish or command) and to disavow (deny any responsibility or support for) himself from her action. He was supportive of her misinterpretation, false and wrong application of the word of God instead of bringing her thought into captivity to the obedience of the Word. Two sins are found in Adam: (1) he gave an audience to the wrong doctrine given by the serpent to the woman instead of showing resistance. Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meat, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein. Hebrews 13:9. (2) Adam willfully enjoyed eating the fruit. He was not forced to eat from the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, only to put the blame on the wife he was responsible for teaching and protecting before God. The consequences of your action will be your burden; your error remains with you. Job 19:4. Note: whenever you compromise the sensual, emotional, material, physical or visible things against the word of God, you remain shaky — unstable as the waters. We shouldn’t trade anything in exchange for the word of God. It is the pearl of a great price. Buy the truth and sell it not. God honors his word above his name. No one should be respected beyond the word of God in your life. For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withered, and the flower thereof falleth away: but the word of the Lord endured forever. And this is the word which, by the gospel, is preached unto you. 1 Peter 1:24-25.
People seem to blindly fall in love with what is hateful to the Lord which they ought to hate and avoid. Two people cannot walk together unless they agree. Amos 3:3. The spirit of error is not of God as we can see from the Garden of Eden. The spiritually erred can be corrected and restored if they are willing to learn and change (my brothers and sisters, if anyone among you strays from the truth and falls into error and [another] one turns him back [to God], let the [latter] one know that the one who has turned a sinner from the error of his way will save that one’s soul from death and cover a multitude of sins [that is, obtain the pardon of the many sins committed by the one who has been restored. James 2:19 – 20. You cannot force anyone to repent or change. The impenitent should be counted to be heretical and false. They should be avoided. But avoid foolish and ill-informed and stupid controversies and genealogies and dissensions and quarrels about the law, for they are unprofitable and useless. After a first and second warning, reject a divisive man [who promotes heresy and causes dissension — ban him from your fellowship and have nothing more to do with him], well aware that such a person is twisted and is sinning; he is convicted and self-condemned [and is gratified by causing confusion among believers]. Titus 3:9 – 11.
Who is, and where are the Phinehas in the church today with strong detest against sexual immorality on the altar and in the congregation? Though they may not resolve to javelin, to kill and avenge the Lord of those who are making sacrilege of his temple (Numbers 25:1-14), but they can show strong displeasure, abhorrence and disapproval to separate from any brother or sister who is a fornicator, drunkard, lesbian, gay, thieves, covetousness, slanderer, swindler, slanderer not even to eat with such. 1 Corinthians 5:9-13.
If you do not abhor and disassociate from those things abhorred by the Lord, you make yourself obnoxious before him. A little leaven leavens the whole lump. Unless you abhor and dissociate from things hateful to the Lord, you shall not be made clean by the washing of water by the word, and the Lord shall not be your sanctuary, defense and shelter. Isaiah 8:2.
Feminism is the spirit of the world. It is taking over many churches these last days. Women should be honored as partakers of the same grace and heirs of the same promise, but they should be shown their place, and be taught their works, both at home and in the church. No one should be found to tolerate anything forbidden by the scriptures (but I have this charge against you, that you tolerate the woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess [claiming to be inspired], and she teaches and misleads my servants so that they commit [acts of sexual] immorality and eat food sacrificed to idols. Revelation 2:20.
Whatever is an abomination in the eyes of God is evil and damnable. Such things should be abhorred by his faithful children in the church. The seeds and prototypes of Jezebel should not be tolerated in the church as female pastors. This is what the serpent sought after right from the Garden of Eden — sought to set up Eve over Adam to teach him against the order of creation — for Adam was first made. Believers, either male or female, but most especially the male believers who are sitting under the ministerial leadership and shepherdess of a female pastor, female bishop or prophetess are likened to King Ahab who sold himself to Jezebel to rule over him by seduction and manipulation — bewitchment. Deliberately, such women defy and rebel against the light: as for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead you cause you to err, and destroy the way of thy paths. Isaiah 3:12.
In these last days, many believers shall be the architect of their own spiritual problems and eternal destruction, because they will not apply the scriptures as light for their paths and lamp to their feet to navigate through the world of sin and darkness. One of the biggest problems and dangers of the last day is the resistance of believers against the undiluted word of God. Their unwillingness and stubbornness to submit to God’s ways and thoughts. In the last days, it is said that many shall not be able to endure sound doctrine for instructions in righteousness to be presented perfect before Christ in preparation for his coming — Christ, whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus. Colossians 1:28.
The church of God in Christ Jesus is in a period where we are witnessing declining interests in the true love in the spirit. Colossians 1:8. Genuine hunger and thirsting for righteousness fades rapidly away. The harvest is plentiful, but genuine laborers are few. False apostles, prophets and evangelists are increasing and multiplying daily everywhere in the world. Today, the gospel of prosperity is out there doing its mental, moral and spiritual damage to corrupt opinions about true spirituality and religion on the amount of accumulation of personal material gains and possessions received from God instead of prioritizing and focusing on the true riches of Christ and how to keep increasing in the transformation of Christ, who is the image of God. In the church today, only a few believers have the joy, pleasure, desire, time and patience to sit down to enjoy sound preaching for a duration of one hour or more. Now, it’s all about what you can financially and materially profit from God, – it’s all about financial prosperity and prophetic utterance and revelations Twenty-four seven, – it's all about miracles and manifestations of the supernatural. It doesn’t matter if it is diabolical or of divine origin: people are not careful to know the origin of their miracles or prophetic insights; all they want are miracles and prophecies.
As a believer, you are called to fight, not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Ephesians 6:12. It is now to fight for your soul and for the holiness of the house of God. Note: all the seven churches and their members are called upon and challenged by the Lord who walks in the midst of the seven candlesticks, who also holds the seven stars in his right hand to overcome. None is excluded. They must overcome their sinful lusts, false pastors and churches, false brethren, and the world. Otherwise, they shall not be clothed with white robes (symbol of their purity), and shall not receive palm leaves in their hand (symbol of their victory and integrity). After this, I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; and cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sits upon the throne, and unto the Lamb. And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshiped God, Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honor, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen. And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, what are these which are arrayed in white robes? And whence came they? And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, these are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore, are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sits on the throne shall dwell among them. They shall hunger no more, neither thirst anymore; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes. Revelation 7:9-17.
According to the prophetic biblical time and season we are in, sin shall increase in the world, and the love of many shall wax cold. Matthew 24:12. In the midst of increasing sin in the world shall the whole earth be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as water covers the sea. Habakkuk 2:14. God promised to pour out his spirit upon all flesh, but it is exclusively upon those who are thirsty, upon those who have repented and baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of their sins.
In regard to what concerns genuine spiritual revival in the last days, individual believers or collective believers in a local church or community should ask of the Lord rain in the time of latter rain: so, the Lord shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, to everyone grass in the field. Zachariah 10:1. There shall be global revival, but not a good revival, but the increase of false teachings and doctrines from many false prophets, apostles and teachers all over the world. Evil shall strive in the church in the last days. False servants of God shall draw great crowds after them, for many shall follow their pernicious way; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. 2 Peter 2:1-2.
Just as Christ foretold, these false prophets and apostles shall appear and rise up with great diabolical power and authority from the world of darkness to perform great miracles, signs and wonders. The end time is a period of great deception and religious hypocrisy where truth is suppressed and Christ expresses his doubt if he will find faith on earth at his appearance. I have seen also in the prophets of Jerusalem an horrible thing: they commit adultery, and walk in lies: they strengthen also the hands of evildoers, that none doth return from his wickedness; they are all of them unto me as Sodom, and the inhabitants thereof as Gomorrah. Therefore, thus saith the Lord of hosts concerning the prophets; behold, I will feed them with wormwood, and make them drink the water of gall: for from the prophets of Jerusalem is profaneness gone forth into all the land. Thus, saith the Lord of hosts, hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you: they make you vain: they speak a vision of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of the Lord. They say still unto them that despise me, the Lord hath said, you shall have peace; and they say unto every one that walketh after the imagination of his own heart, no evil shall come upon you. For who hath stood in the counsel of the Lord, and hath perceived and heard his word? Who hath marked his word, and heard it? Jeremiah 23:14-18.
Satan knows the bible very well, but he will never abide in the truth. John 8:44.
We cannot overcome the enemy if we do not abide in the truth, prayerfully and rightly dividing the word of truth. If we don't know our bible very well, and the word of God is not dwelling in us richly in all wisdom, with all spiritual understanding, - to stand firm and faithful to the doctrine which is according to godliness and holiness in all manner of conversation, we cannot conquer or be freed from sin, flesh, world and from Satan. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he is taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: even him, who’s coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause, God shall send them a strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: that they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. 2 Thessalonians 2:7-12.
I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my meditation. Psalms 119:99. Some believers always say, my pastor says so-and-so, even when they know that his interpretation and application of scripture is contrary to what is written, they still stand to defend his erroneous teaching and false interpretation of scriptures to tell you that they are under certain bewitchment of which Apostle Paul called out the Galatians brethren by asking, O ye foolish Galatians, who has bewitched you not to obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you? Galatians 3:1.
Jesus promised to give all things to the believer who shall overcome: he that overcomes shall inherit all things. Revelation 21:7. Those who are not ready to suffer for Christ's sake to stand for the truth, walk in it, speak and defend it shall overcome nothing, and shall have nothing to inherit, for through many tribulations shall we inherit the kingdom of heaven. Acts 14:22. There are so many things to overcome as you pursue the great price of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Be ready to pay the price to suffer for righteousness’s sake. Be willing to be rebellious to any ungodly influence and authority over your soul, just like Joseph was rebellious to the ungodly demand and expectation from his master’s wife at Potiphar's house, refused to sleep with her, though he spent some time in prison for his righteous and holy rebellion, but was an overcomer at the end.
An overcomer shall be willing to be rebellious against any ungodly and unbiblical authority and influences over his life, like Daniel bluntly refused to stop praying to God at Babylon, though was cast into the den of lions, but God stepped into his case to stop the mouths of the lions that they could not hurt his devoted and loyal servant. Shadrack, Meshach and Abednego also righteously rebelled and refused to obey the King, not bowing down before his golden stature to pollute and destroy their relationships with God. Though they were cast into the furnace of fire, the fire had no effect on them because God went ahead of them into the fire, and they were overcomers at the end. Note: it is the matter of choice. What is your priority? Whosoever shall lose his life, the same shall gain it. Those who have chosen to lose their lives for the Lord's sake in the world have nothing else to lose. As long as they have not counted their own lives dear unto them, nothing else is dear unto them to let go for the Lord's sake, that they might gain their soul at the end,- And they did not love their lives unto death. Revelation 12:11.
